Join Us in Celebrating "Take Your Daughter to the Course Week"
July 9th - 15th
All junior girls under the age of 18 will play for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
In an effort to grow the game of golf and expose it to the younger generations, Heritage Ranch Golf & Country Club will be supporting the National Golf Course Owners Association’s (NGCOA) “Take Your Daughter to the Course Week” July 9-15, 2007.
Young women, ages 18 and under, that play golf with an adult or guardian during this week will receive complimentary green fees. A complimentary one hour clinic will be offered to the junior ladies on Monday, July 9th at 10-11am that will cover the basic fundamentals and rules of the game.
“It is critical within the golf industry to continually promote participation in the game through a variety of means and activities. As golf becomes more prominent amongst young women, with players like Michelle Wie and Annika Sorenstam, our role is to provide them the tools necessary to drive and maintain their interest,” says Tony Trevino, Director of Golf at Heritage Ranch Golf & Country Club, “This week is perfect for encouraging family interaction and introducing the game to the younger generation.”
